Job description
- Analyse and collate data from multiple internal and external sources to complete credit risk reviews
- Communicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence and shape risk/ reward decisions
- Review financial information: P&L, Balance sheet, and cashflow statements, and compile trend analysis, produce risk reviews for senior management and external insurance companies.
- Accurate and timely record keeping
- Workload planning and prioritisation
- Manage accounts through to conclusion, working to agreed deadlines and obtaining buy in for actions from key stakeholders
- Fraud prevention using spend trends to identify risks
- Timely query resolution, working with colleagues in other departments, such as sales, Account Management, Fraud and to resolve issues
- Manage the relationship with sales account management to ensure open communication and agreed level of risk/ reward
- Underwrite credit limits
- Presenting credit recommendations to key stakeholders
- Credit Review management, ensuring effective decisions are made to minimize risk
- Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge
- Participate in meetings and projects with wider credit team to continually improve department performance
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the Radius Group
- Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result
