Your role

As a Working Student IT Administrator at Yoshi en & Edeneve, you support our team in ensuring a smooth and reliable IT environment across the company.

You take ownership of day-to-day support topics and help maintain our modern workplace setup, enabling colleagues to work efficiently. After an initial onboarding phase, you are expected to handle recurring requests independently and proactively improve internal processes.

You work closely with the IT team and collaborate with colleagues across all departments.

What you’ll work on

  • Provide first-level IT support for employees (hardware, software, access issues)
  • Manage and resolve requests via ticketing tools (Jira Service Management)
  • Support user and access management (Google Workspace)
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding (accounts, devices, permissions)
  • Troubleshoot issues across Apple devices and SaaS tools
  • Help maintain and improve the modern workplace setup (WiFi, conferencing systems, meeting rooms, IoT devices)
  • Document solutions and contribute to improving IT processes and knowledge base

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in a German university (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field)

  • First experience in IT support, helpdesk, or customer support

  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)

  • Understanding of modern workplace tools (e.g. Slack, Google Meet)

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi, VLANs)

  • Comfortable working in the Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS)

  • Familiarity with SaaS environments and tools

  • Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Clear communication skills in English (C1) and ability to support non-technical users

Nice to have

  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Exposure to IT security / InfoSec / SecOps topics
  • Experience with conferencing systems or office infrastructure
  • Experience with MDM solutions
