Job description
Flexi working: Office-based 3 days a week
Fluency in English and Spanish.
We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Senior Account Manager to strengthen Omio’s global network of supply partnerships and accelerate our commercial growth. This role combines strategic account leadership, commercial negotiation and revenue ownership with a strong focus on building long-term, high-value relationships across rail, bus, and ferry providers.
Senior Commercial Account Manager
This role is a Senior Account Manager position with a strong operations-first focus, particularly in the initial phase. The core responsibility is managing a large and diverse partner portfolio (40+ partners) across multiple countries, including a mix of long-tail accounts and strategic key partners (e.g. major rail operators such as Trenitalia).
The role is centered on day-to-day partner management and operational excellence: ensuring existing partners are well managed, relationships are healthy, performance is tracked, and priorities are handled efficiently without burnout. The successful candidate will be highly organised, autonomous, and capable of working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
While the role is not primarily about defining high-level inventory or company-wide strategy, it does require seniority in partner interactions. The individual must be comfortable engaging with C-level and senior decision-makers on the partner side, steering complex or difficult conversations with confidence and credibility.
A strong revenue and growth instinct remains essential. The role requires the ability to identify and act on revenue opportunities within existing partnerships, even if strategic ownership sits elsewhere. Overall, this is a senior operational account role for someone who can manage scale, complexity, and senior relationships effectively across a broad partner portfolio.
Key Duties
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic transport providers, developing deep relationships at all levels, operational, commercial, and executive.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities to optimise revenue, increase basket size and unlock incremental growth.
- Own market and competitive insights turning them into clear strategic actions that enhance Omio’s positioning, while serving as the internal go-to expert for these areas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product & Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Legal teams across Berlin, London, Prague and other hubs to improve partner performance and enhance the customer journey.
- Represent Omio at senior and industry level, positioning us as a trusted, strategic partner for transport providers.
- Be the internal advocate for your partners and customers, ensuring their needs are understood and reflected in our product, strategy and roadmap decisions.
