JOB PURPOSE:

The VC Supply Partner will play an important role in managing ca 300mE of annual Logistic and Local supply chain overheads spend, working closely with the Ice Cream Logistics, Customer-Service & Planning Teams. You will play an important role in key capabilities include forecasting, analysis, benchmarking, savings partnering & realization and establishing the financial control framework. The role will work closely with the SCFS logistics teams located in Katowice, Poland that supports all IC European Finance activities across Transport, Warehousing & Overheads. A key aspect of this position is to ensure seamless Logistic Finance operations during periods of transition and organizational change.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accuracy in the Logistics and Supply Chain overheads results & forecast for East European market.  

  • Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to EE Supply Chain leads and Logistics stakeholders. 

  • Drive insightful analytics of monthly logistics results in collaboration with SCFS & Logistics teams.  

  • Create and deliver action plans with the logistics stakeholders, highlighting financial impacts and opportunities.  

  • Co-pilot savings initiatives and support in the design of EU logistics transformational projects.  

  • Monitor the logistics efficiencies and ensure a clear link between operational KPIs and financial results by making use of internal & external transport benchmarks. 

  • Act as the key contact for logistics queries, issue resolution, and support on transition to new ERP system. 

  • Support logistics tendering processes with financial insight and evaluation. 

  • Assist the supply leads with review, timelines and processes to control the volume developments, business waste exposures and forecast accuracy.   

  • Collaborate with central SC finance team on the financial processes (e.g. forecasting, strategic outlook and business plan). 

  • Adequately support BG Finance teams, especially in reporting, result controlling and performance management.  

  • Ensure compliance with the relevant elements of Financial Control Framework and governance standards. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

SKILLS:

  • ​​Relevant years’ experience in Finance roles (Controlling, Performance management & FMCG industry experience is preferred)  

  • ​​E2E understanding of Cost / P&L with hands-on experience brought from previous roles and sufficient understanding of E2E Logistics. 

  • ​​Strong Forecasting understanding. 

  • ​​Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment. 

  • ​Business acumen – rapidly absorbs new information; applies new techniques, technology and procedures to drive efficiencies in daily operation. ​

  • ​Analytical thinking, problem solving attitude – ability to combine multiple and different data point to draw conclusions; apply systematic approach to identify and eliminate root causes; identify problem solution. ​

  • ​Strong “can do” and “can transform” mindset; challenges the status quo.
