About the job 

 

We are looking for a curious, business-minded team player to join our Route to Market (RtM) team as an Analytical Consultant. Our team is part of NiQ’s Strategic Analytics & Insight (SA&I) business unit, focusing on special analysis and modelling on our NiQ retail data as well as other NiQ and external data sources.

In this role you will lead end-to-end analytical projects and translate strategic insights to commercial actions for our German and Western European clients. We work in a collaborative digital environment where you will support and be supported by our wider European team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer client’s business question by recommending and applying the most relevant methodologies. 
  • Ensure smooth execution of regional and multi-country projects by coordinating remote and international teams across sales, production, and analytics. 
  • Provide consistent and high-quality deliveries by working with global and local experts and continuously building expertise in our solutions and clients’ business topics.
  • Participate in client discussions/presentations and develop implications and recommendations based on the data.
  • Support team knowledge growth and contribute to international best practices and knowledge sharing efforts. 

 Skills & Experience 

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in analytics, consulting, FMCG, retail, or client facing insights. 
  • Fluent in German and English (other Western European languages are a plus). 
  • Advanced in Excel and Power Point and used to working in a digital setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ambition to continuously deepen these skills.
  • Attention to details, structured, ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Storytelling skills; ability to translate complex statistical analyses into clear, actionable insights.
  • Comfortable in leading projects independently in a fast-paced international environment, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management; ability to prioritize task to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in building relationships, both internally and with clients.
