Job Description:

To support our Medical Team in Munich, we are looking for support as:

Medical Manager Neuroscience (f/m/d)

Focus will be on

  • Function as the scientific and medical expert for the assigned product/indication, providing expertise and advice

  • Responsible for developing the national medical strategy for the assigned product/indication in the context of the global strategy and in alignment with the local brand team

  • Representation of Ipsen in interactions with leading medical experts, scientific societies, and institutions

  • Steering, implementation, and successful execution of the medical-scientific activities in the assigned area, considering the national and global strategy

  • Training of internal stakeholders on medical, indication and product specific contents

  • Review and release of promotional and medical information materials in accordance with applicable SOPs and relevant legal regulations (e.g. HWG) and in agreement with the local Medical Director / Information Officer

  • Planning, initiation and conduct of clinical studies in the context of the overall medical-scientific strategy and in cooperation with the clinical operations team, as well as maintaining an overview of the progress of local and international studies

  • Compliance with laws, regulations, codes and Ipsen internal SOPs (GCP, HWG, AMG, etc.)

  • Responsible for proper planning and adherence to the assigned budget

Qualification requires

  • Biomedical, scientific university education, ideally at postgraduate level, e.g. MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD

  • Medical/ paramedical practice or research career (hospital and/or hospital-related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research, or medical affairs)

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and proven experience as well as successful track record as Medical Manager or medical department professional

  • Experience delivering scientific presentations and building relationships with thought leaders

  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistics, as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance rules and guidelines relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals

  • Previous Medical experience in Neurology and ideally other Ipsen Therapeutic areas

  • Good communication skills and the ability to quickly adapt to situations

  • Business Fluent in German and English
