Your responsibilities  

  • Schedule and adapt the distribution of the workers on the different works according to the workload and priorities 

  • Be the warrant of the quality level of the work performed on the aircraft 

  • Make sure that the work is progressing according to the provided planning and priorities 

  • Coordinate with Quality Inspectors for direct control and interruptive checks 

  • Be the technical link between the operators and the others services 

  • Responsible for passing the work orders to TERA status 

  • Ensure that the work orders passed to Quality are filled out with all mandatory traceability information 

  • Support & drumbeat the production team in aircraft 

  • Escalate to supervisor issues that could not be solved with available means 

  • Ensure that the worker is qualified to perform a given task 

  • Identify and report the internal and external training needs of the team members to cover the activity; 

  • Make sure that the team meets all the required condition to perform their job (tools are calibrated and valid, spare tools forecasted, specific products, zone access…) 

 

Responsibilities and authority regarding QSE (quality, security environment) 

  • Ensure that the FOD, PPE and Safety rules are fulfilled 

  • Apply and make apply AAA QMS and respect applicable procedures, processes, instructions and operating modes 

  • Apply documentation updates from customer and/or AAA 

  • Report quality events & information from shopfloor 

  • Report to the hierarchy any potential risk about QSE on the shopfloor 

  • Apply & manage the tutoring process to develop competencies of operators 

 

As back-up of team leader in case of absence 

  • Report about the progress on the Workorders in follow-up tools 

  • Attend daily progress meetings 

  • Ensure that the workers work within defined working hours 

  • Validate administrative Human Resources forms (vacation requests, etc.) 

  • Perform awarenesses and sensibilisation of operators and initiate qualifications 

  • Use and initiate QMS-Documents for follow-up of Team’s Competencies: qualification sheet, on-the-job training sheet, skills matrix 

 

Your profile  

  • Technical education with several years of experience as well as complementary education as team supervisor in aeronautical production environment  

  • Good English knowledge 

  • Technical Knowledge in activity scope 

  • Leadership- & Moderation competencies particularly in crisis situations 

  • Role model behavior, team oriented, loyal
