Make your mark as a Quality Assurance Engineer at the business unit Marine Services.
In this role, you actively support projects in the business unit in the development, maintenance, and compliance of the integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), in line with internal, client, legal, and certification requirements. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence.
As a QA Engineer in Marine Services, you will be based in Papendrecht (NL), however you are required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites on an occasionally basis.
Your responsibilities as a QA Engineer are:
- You are the booster and inspirator for the Boskalis Quality Management System / Way of Working (WOW). Within the business unit, you will be facilitating and supporting the organisation in translating the principles of the WoW into practice.
- You stimulate a working environment in which the project teams find, connect, and inspire each other through WoW start up session and WoW engagement tools.
- You will have responsibility over the audit process, covering both internal and external supplier audits. This means that you develop the audit plan and coordinate the follow-up of findings.
- You take a proactive role through the introduction of improvements with the aim of supporting and developing expertise, procedures, and working methods in the business unit.
- Through analysis of SHEQ data, you are able to understand and communicate project performance in terms of both leading and lagging indicators to identify trends, opportunities for improvement in support of strategic business
Your qualities and experience
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management.
- Auditing experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, preferably ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experienced management system auditor in a maritime environment.
- Experience with implementation of changes and improvements, or the ability to do so.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with SharePoint would be beneficial.
- Experience with electronic reporting /action tracking software.
