Job description

The QA Lead for ACMP is a quality leadership role responsible for driving consistent quality standards, practices, and metrics across one ACMP SaaS platform consisting of multiple cross-functional development teams (typically 3–4 teams). 

The role operates above individual teams, acting as a connector, coordinator, and quality strategist between Development, Product, and Management. The QA Lead ensures that quality is built into the development process, not treated as a final testing phase, and actively drives a shared quality culture across the platform. 

The QA Lead is not a full-time hands-on tester. Hands-on testing may happen in rare or critical cases, but the primary focus is enablement, prioritization, alignment, and transparency of quality. 

Job description: 

1. Quality Leadership & Strategy 

  • Own and continuously evolve the QA strategy for the ACMP platform 
  • Define and maintain platform-level QA standards, Ways of Working, and best practices 
  • Ensure equal quality expectations across teams in terms of (Metrics & KPIs, Processes, Tools) 
  • Drive the “quality culture shift”, where quality is a shared responsibility across all roles 

2. Cross-Team Coordination & Enablement 

  • Act as the central QA point of contact for all teams within the ACMP platform 
  • Support teams in prioritizing quality topics alongside feature delivery 
  • Organize and facilitate (QA workshops, Retrospectives focused on quality, Cross-team knowledge-sharing sessions) 
  • Help teams resolve QA-related dependencies and ambiguities early in development (“shift left”) 

3. Process & Ways of Working 

  • Ensure QA is integrated into the full Software Development Lifecycle 
  • Support teams in applying and improving (Test strategies, Test planning and coverage, Automation approaches) 
  • Align QA practices across teams while respecting team autonomy 
  • Maintain clarity on ownership of (QA practices, Automation initiatives, Quality documentation and roadmaps) 

4. Metrics, Reporting & Scorecards 

  • Define, track, and continuously improve the platform QA scorecard 
  • Ensure consistent and transparent QA reporting across all ACMP teams 
  • Use data to (Highlight quality risks early, Support informed decision-making, Balance delivery speed and quality) 
  • Drive data-driven quality improvements, including KPI automation where possible 

5. Coaching & People Development 

  • Coach teams and individuals on (Quality mindset, Testing strategies, Risk-based thinking) 
  • Support skill growth in QA and testing across roles (QA, Developers, Product) 
  • Act as a mentor and advisor, not a gatekeeper 

6. Hands-on Involvement (Selective) 

  • Participate directly in testing only when needed, (such as High-risk releases, Critical incidents, New or complex initiatives) 
  • Hands-on work is supportive, not the core responsibility 

Your profile 

  • Open minded, QA Engineer with leadership and organizational skills in minimum 5 years of experience.  
  • Hands-on experience in full application parts of the product testing (Frontend, Backend, API …); 
  • Hands-on experience of Test Automation and Test Management Tools; 
  • Knowledge of different QA methodologies and development processes; 
  • Ability to participate in IT audits to explain the QA process; 
  • Leadership experience in QA strategy implementation; 
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, applying argumentation and negotiation skills if necessary; 
  • High proficiency in verbal and written English communication skills. 
  • We expect candidates to actively use AI in their development workflow and demonstrate how AI increases their productivity and solution quality. 

Considered as Advantage  

  • Bachelor's or master's degree or relevant education considered as an advantage, 
  • Interest in Testing industry evolution and CI / CD Practices, 
  • Experience in scripting – JS, Python, or any other 
  • ISTQB Foundations Certification 
  • Basic Knowledge of test automation frameworks
