Promotions are one of the most powerful commercial levers in European pet e-commerce — and at zooplus and they're ready for their next chapter. We're looking for a senior leader to take ownership of our entire promotional engine: the strategy, the team, the tooling, the alignment of multiple teams, and the P&L impact. You'll be entrusted to build a Center of Excellence from a strong existing foundation, shaping how we invest promotional spend across markets.
This isn't a maintenance role. You'll define the governance framework, drive new ways of working, and sit at the intersection of vendor management, category, marketing, pricing, product, and finance. You'll have a direct line to commercial leadership and the mandate to reshape how promotions work here.
What you will own
- The promotional strategy, planning and measurement - ensuring close alignment with central and market teams on driving effectiveness and efficiency
- A governance framework with clear guardrails, performance KPIs, and decision rights - replacing ambiguity with structure
- The relationship between promotion and pricing - driving toward integrated net price management
- Cross-functional alignment with Vendor Management, Category, CRM, Marketing, and Finance - you're the connective tissue that makes promo spend coherent
- Partnership with Product and Engineering on capability buildout, automation, and tooling that keeps pace with our ambition
- Validation, execution, and compliance processes - ensuring operational excellence doesn't lag behind strategic vision
- A team of promotion experts, with the explicit goal of scaling into a best-in-class Center of Excellence for Promotions
