The Finance Partner provides senior-level financial expertise and acts as a trusted business partner for Tech Consulting. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling operational finance activities within an assigned scope, supporting management decision-making and performance management.
Operating in a complex, international environment, the Finance Partner applies Tietoevry-defined finance processes, tools, and governance models, while continuously improving ways of working and strengthening Finance’s value contribution to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate operational finance activities within the assigned Tech Consulting area.
Define and execute FC&A plans, objectives, and forecasts in line with business goals.
Monitor financial performance against targets and proactively communicate insights, deviations, and improvement opportunities to business management.
Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders, supporting profitability, investments, and operational decision-making.
Apply and support the implementation of Tietoevry finance tools, methods, and processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and ways of working, incorporating relevant market best practices.
Collaborate closely with Finance colleagues and cross-functional partners across the organization.
Contribute finance expertise to cross-organizational initiatives when required.
Qualifications & Experience
8–12+ years of relevant experience in Finance, ideally within Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or senior Finance specialist roles.
Strong overall finance competence, with advanced expertise in areas such as controlling, forecasting, and performance management.
Experience from publicly listed companies and compliance-driven environments is an advantage.
Experience working in international, multicultural organizations is preferred.
Proven ability to influence decisions through financial expertise, data, and professional credibility.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to improve existing processes and ways of working.
Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset.
