About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.

We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.

Your mission

The mission of the Project Manager (m/f/d) – COO Office role is to quickly understand project goals, structure them clearly, track progress and document it, support the teams in achieving their project goals with hands on support where needed. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive the operations roadmap.

We are looking for someone we can “drop into” critical, unstructured projects—and who can independently bring them on track.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of key projects with high visibility and direct impact on company success
  • Development of solution approaches and implementation plans
  • Hands-on implementation of measures when needed
  • Close collaboration with the COO Office, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners
  • Build and maintain project plans for ongoing initiatives
  • Track milestones, deadlines, and dependencies
  • Run meeting prep and write clear, structured minutes with actions
  • Make sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Support with slides and simple analyses when needed
  • Coordinate across teams and keep everyone aligned
  • Step in wherever things are unclear or stuck and help move them forward

Qualifications

  • German is a strong advantage
  • 1–2 years of experience in project management gained at startups or consulting or similar (Experience in project management or PMO environments is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, structure, and manage multiple workstreams effectively
  • Experience and reliability with a consistent track record of follow-through on tasks and commitments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate, including modeling and scenario analysis)
  • Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides)
  • Ability to create clear, concise presentations and written summaries (e.g., slides, reports)
  • Excellent communication skills (proactive follow-up and stakeholder coordination)
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach and the initiative to take ownership without requiring close supervision
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in high-pressure settings
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Experience with data visualization (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
