YOUR FUTURE ROLE  

 

Your tasks include an exciting mix of demand planning, creative storytelling & campaign execution and offer you a lot of space to fill with creativity in the mind & the customer experience in the heart.

 

You will be working closely with other team members from demand generation, sales, digital advisory and marketing.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scout and identify promising startups with serious market potential
  • Develop, manage & execute demand campaigns with SAP for Startups for MEE content and generate leads to nurture and convert them into high quality sales opportunities for handover to sales
  • Ensure individual 1:1 tailored approach and messaging targeting startup founders and C-Levels
  • Applying digital sales methods like digital prospecting, video communication and social listening & selling to generate interest and qualify customer requirements
  • Support planning and execution of 3rd party startup events to generate demand and ensure follow-up activities 
  • Develop real expertise in the startup ecosystem and SAP Cloud ERP so you can serve as a trusted digital advisor
  • Track your performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly — full transparency, full ownership

 

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or IT-related discipline
  • First experience in social selling, sales, business development, or B2B marketing (internships and working-student roles count)
  • A proactive, outgoing communication style — you're comfortable reaching out to people you've never met
  • Independent and well-organised — you don't wait to be told what to do next
  • Team-first mentality and energy for a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine curiosity about startups, their challenges, and how SAP Cloud solutions help them scale
  • Interest in digital tools and methods: video creation, AI, storytelling, blogging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Native German speaker with fluent English skills

The Digital Transformation & Innovation Advisory, part of the Corporate & GROW MEE organization, leads end-to-end transformation initiatives across the region, directly supporting SAP’s growth ambition in the Corporate segment. By combining strategic foresight, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial drive, the team strengthens organizational capabilities and delivers measurable, differentiated value to Corporate customers across MEE. As part of the Digital Transformation & Innovation Advisory, SAP for Startups keeps the spirit of SAP’s founders up by living a startup mentality within the corporation. The team helps startups grow & scale their business with the help of SAP SaaS solutions and technology partnerships. We value creativity combined with operational excellence at the pace of startup companies.

The position can be filled as part time position.
