Your tasks:
- lead a small team of security engineers and incident responders
- You and your team are the first point of contact at XING for security-related questions.
- advise teams during new projects, help them understand risks and suggest mitigations.
- manage software vulnerabilities and assist our teams in handling them.
- play a key role in security audits.
- set up monitoring processes to help detect attacks.
- manage incidents that could affect security.
- draft security-related processes, policies, requirements and guidelines.
Your skills:
- You’ve received training or a degree in IT, software development or similar, and have several years of security experience.
- Your analysis is thorough, and your advice is clear, practical, and understandable for people with technical and non-technical background.
- You’re well connected within the security community.
- You understand code and ideally have some background in system administration.
- You write policies to combine risk management and business needs to ensure a compliant, safe and productive work environment
- Ideally, you are holding a recognised security certificate, e.g. CISSP .
- If you are familiar with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Defender Suite, XSIAM and related security configurations and management, that would be a plus.
- Proven network or application security skills would also be a bonus.
- Fluency in English is required. Ideally you speak German as well.
