Job description

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The EMEA Partner Solutions team builds strategic, holistic, long-term partnerships with mobile, broadband, and TV operators to make it easy for Netflix members to access, enjoy and pay for Netflix across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

As the Director of Partner Solutions for EMEA, you’ll be part of the regional Partnership Leadership team and lead a strategically critical team that enables partners across the region to help make paying for and playing Netflix easy and convenient. That includes being a thought leader on continuing innovation to drive Netflix member growth, and improving customer journeys while efficiently scaling programs such as bundles, devices, and payment integrations.

This is a senior high-profile position with management and cross-functional responsibility. In addition to defining and executing strategic initiatives for key partnerships, you will be a leader within a high-performance organisation that truly changes how the world watches movies and TV. Our culture is unique and is a key part of our approach to innovation.

Perhaps the most critical aspect that will determine success in this role is the ability to adapt and embrace the Netflix culture.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a collaborative leader of a team distributed across our offices in the region, capable of driving internal & external stakeholders while balancing product + technology needs with longer-term partner relationship objectives

  • Synthesise and streamline business and technology solutions that strengthen our partnerships while advancing our service

  • Navigate complex business and technology relationships with industry-leading platform providers

  • Set and implement engagement strategies with senior executives across a wide range of cultures

  • Drive program priorities, product designs and overall user experience, without leaning on authority, including representing and maintaining Netflix product principles

  • Be an excellent team leader, with the ability to attract, retain and grow top talent

  • Bring extensive know-how in change management in large-scale organisations to further unlock partnerships and teams across EMEA

  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, listening and presentation skills, as well as crisp verbal and written communications

  • Inform business decisions based on data and metrics

Your experiences are drawn from:

  • 15 or more years of experience building & managing long-term strategic relationships with industry-leading international organisations

  • Extensive experience and track record in leading a senior team of ICs, supporting their ability to execute at the highest level and supporting their growth

  • Capable of building and managing strategic relationships with internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partners through strong influencing skills and executive presence

  • Proven track record of managing multi-party projects or technology ecosystems

  • Technology background, including devices and platforms

  • Capable of translating complex technical products and features into intuitive concepts.

  • Successful implementation of significant consumer products, payment platform software or services, especially for video or music

  • Data-driven analysis and decision-making, informed by a passion for metrics

  • Strong change management experience to navigate towards our bold ambitions

  • Navigate complicated, high-stakes negotiations resulting in value creation

  • Commercial and business acumen, which will support decision-making around partner product engagement

  • Willingness to travel for partner and internal team meetings

  • English language proficiency. Additional language skills are a plus

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
