This role combines ESG reporting expertise, data architecture ownership, and systems leadership in a complex international industrial organization. As Manager Sustainability Data & Analytics you ensure that sustainability data is accurate, auditable, automated, and compliant with CSRD / ESRS and internal control (ICS) requirements, enabling high quality external reporting and management decision making.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your tasks:

  • Take end‑to‑end ownership of ESG data and reporting systems, ensuring a future‑proof ESG reporting landscape

  • Administer and continuously optimize ESG reporting tools, including configuration, user management, training, and documentation

  • Define, maintain, and further develop the ESG data and reporting architecture, ensuring compliance with mandatory (CSRD/ESRS, ICS) and voluntary (e.g. CDP, S&P Global CSA) reporting requirements

  • Design and harmonize data integrations and automated data pipelines across ESG and enterprise systems

  • Implement and maintain automated data pipelines, covering ETL processes, data validation, and data quality controls

  • Ensure ESG data is traceable, consistent, and audit‑ready across all reporting cycles and disclosures

  • Translate ESG reporting and business requirements into clear technical specifications and collaborate closely with internal interface functions and external auditors, while driving ESG digitalization, automation, and reporting efficiency initiatives

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed University degree in Data Science/Data Analytics, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Sustainability Management, Finance or a related field.

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in working with data platforms, system administration and data models operating within complex system landscapes, ideally in an international industrial environment

  • Practical experience with data validation, controls, and audit‑ready documentation, as well as in data integration, ETL processes, APIs, SFTP, and data pipelines, preferably in the context of ESG, HSE, Finance BI, or regulatory reporting

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, solution‑oriented, and reliable working style and a high level of personal responsibility

  • Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with BI or analytics tools is a plus

  • Solid spoken and written German and English; additional language skills are an advantage
