JOB DESCRIPTION

Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute needs to incorporate a researcher to collaborate with The Intensive Care Medicine Department in supporting research activities with the aim of developing of predictive model in the healtcare processes of metabolism and rehabilitation, respiratori failure and sepsis.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute the tasks required in the projects of the group.
  • Acquire and analyze data.
  • Present research info and results at internal and external scientific meetings.
  • Participate in the design, organization and execution of the communication and dissemination activities of the project.
  • Support tasks for the project research team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering
  • Undergraduate thesis on bioimpedance in the clinical/hospital setting.
  • Experience working with ICU data, estatistics and Machine Learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of other languages will be positively considered.
