Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a nurse with research experience for doing tasks in the DM1-Heart project of the Neuromuscular Research Group of Barcelona (GRENBA) at the IGTP.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explaining the study to patients and obtaining informed consent.

  • Collaborating with the unit’s neurologists to collect clinical data, including performing electrocardiograms (ECGs).

  • Performing blood sample extractions.

  • Entering and maintaining study data in Excel.

  • Monitoring the prospective follow-up of the study.

  • Coordinating and scheduling the patients’ follow-up visits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE

  • Nursing diploma
  • Master’s Degree in Critical Care Nursing
  • Skills in blood extraction and electrocardiogram acquisition
  • Used to work with patients and to pass scales
  • 2 years of previous experience in hospital work
  • Excel skills
  • It would be positively evaluated the participation in previous research projects.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • 8 hours/week
  • Indefinite contract ( Contracte indefinit per activitats científico-tècniques, llei 14/2011)
  • Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments. 
  • Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).
  • 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas
