How you will make an impact
- Lead and execute part and process qualifications (PPAP) in line with defined requirements and PPAP gate model
- Act as project manager for PPAP activities, ensuring quality, timing and completeness of deliverables
- Drive supplier qualification and quality improvement activities in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Plan, conduct and follow up on supplier audits and assessments, ensuring effective closure of non‑conformances
- Manage supplier quality issues and non‑conformances (e.g. 8D), including escalation when required
- Monitor and report supplier performance KPIs (e.g. OQD, OTD) and support Supplier Performance Evaluations
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of PPAP documentation in PLM systems and SAP Reiwa
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration, proactive communication and effective conflict resolution
Your background
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Proven experience in Supplier Quality Management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PPAP and supplier qualification processes
- Experience with supplier audits, quality methodologies and problem‑solving tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, SPC)
- Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with sustainability, corporate governance and Supplier Code of Conduct requirements
- Ideally Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified
- Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel approx. 40%
