Purpose of the Job

 

Our Account Managers are responsible for managing and delivering solutions for our clients through close work with internal teams and local partners.

 

You'll need experience of working with clients and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve their challenges - taking ownership of various relationships and developing them further.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical input and advice on Print projects as required
  • Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage project delivery from start to finish, suggesting alternative options and innovation where possible - own the process
  • Provide technical input and advice on projects as required, briefing suppliers on precise client requirements and delivering exceptional levels of customer service
  • Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time while implementing new methods and procedures as required - collaborate across multiple teams and utilize HH Global’s full-service offering
  • Deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account administration and reporting while keeping accurate records
  • Agree and manage budgets and P+Ls, ensuring profit is maximized through analysis of performance
  • Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs while ensuring compliance with Regulatory and Company policies

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

 

  • Previous experience working in Print Buying and 2D Print Management
  • Client service management experience, including time spent working on client site(s), developing and maintaining client relationships across multiple vendors against agreed SLAs + KPIs
  • Commercial bias / understanding and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through time management + prioritization skills
  • Project Management mindset - process driven with a focus on sales and business development
  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniority
  • English and German language skills

 

Essential Criteria

 

  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling new client accounts - evidence of having personally led the first 6 to 12 months of a new client relationship, including discovery, workflow design, SLA definition, and operational onboarding and can show or express measurable outcomes (eg revenue ramp‑up, process adoption, stakeholder satisfaction)
  • Proven experience managing2D print ideally pharma‑regulated - direct experience with artwork/print processes, including approval cycles, compliance checkpoints and documentation standards (e.g., SOPs, audit trails, version control) plus ability to articulate specific regulatory challenges solved (eg multilingual pack changes, controlled artwork updates, risk mitigation)
  • Ability to build operational infrastructure from scratch in partnership with RAD - have set up new workflows, supply chains, or vendor ecosystems for a client rather than inheriting an existing structure.
  • Experience managing KPIs, reporting frameworks and governance models for a new account with competitive sourcing abilities
  • Multi‑level stakeholder engagement in a multinational environment - demonstrated ability to influence and manage stakeholders across multiple functions (procurement, brand, regulatory, quality)
  • Experience working with German‑based or DACH‑region clients, including navigating cultural expectations and decision‑making structures
  • Excellent English and German language skills
  • Advanced print production and cost‑management expertise - ability to independently scope, cost, and optimize complex print jobs across multiple formats and suppliers
  • Must show quantifiable examples of cost savings, process efficiencies, or quality improvements delivered.
  • Able to attend client site in Neuss as required
