Senior Software Engineer (Go) (m/f/d)

Your Role:

• Backend Execution: You develop and optimize high-performance, scalable backend services using a modern tech stack.

• API Design: You design and implement robust APIs and integrations that seamlessly connect our systems and incorporate external services.

• Cloud Native: You conceptualize and build cloud-based solutions directly on AWS.

• Quality First: Through clean, testable code and regular code reviews, you ensure our software meets the highest standards.

• Architecture & Evolution: You are actively involved in planning our software architecture and contribute your experience to build future-proof solutions.

• Mentoring: You share your knowledge and support junior and mid-level developers in reaching the next level.

• Product Impact: You actively shape the further development of our core products and interfaces – your code has a direct impact on our success.

• Modern Workflow: You actively use agentic engineering methods to deliver reliable results quickly.

• Regular Onsite: Even as a remote worker, you embrace our culture and are in the office in Offenburg twice per quarter (3 days each time).

Your Profile

• Track Record: You have at least 7 years of experience in professional software development.

• Tech Stack: You are fluent in Go and perform well even in large legacy applications.

• Cloud & IaC: You are confident using AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3) and know how to manage infrastructure via code.

• Connectivity: You have solid experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and asynchronous architectures.

• Engineering Excellence: Clean code and clean architecture are not just buzzwords for you but part of your practice.

• Quality Mindset: You have extremely high standards for the quality of your work.

• Agentic: Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools are your first choice, and you are committed to continually improving your use of agents.

• Language Skills: You communicate fluently in German and confidently in English.

• Legal Check: You reside in Germany and have the necessary work permit.
