Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical tests on components as well as on development compounds

  • Carefully comparing test results with defined specifications and preparing clear, well‑structured test reports

  • Coordinating and communicating test results with internal stakeholders

  • Performing testing, documentation and evaluation in accordance with internal and external guidelines(e.g. APQP, PPAP)

  • Introducing new testing methods, including the creation and maintenance of work instructions

  • Producing test specimens and material compounds for testing and development purposes

  • Taking on general administrative tasks and handling related correspondence

  • Actively contributing to safety, order and cleanliness in the laboratory

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training in chemical laboratory work, physics laboratory work, materials testing, or a comparable qualification

  • Experience in rubber processing is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Knowledge of standards and experience in applying norms are beneficial

  • Confident handling of standard office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access is a plus)

  • Enjoyment of teamwork combined with a structured and detail‑oriented working style

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized in a dynamic environment

  • Willingness to take responsibility and continuously develop professionally

  • English language skills are an advantage
