Shopper Excellence Specialist

Location:  Athens, hybrid model of working

 

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Shopper Excellence Specialist to lead the development and execution of Trade Marketing plan across customers. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Category and Marketing teams to drive shopper engagement and enhance brand presence across retail. You will play a pivotal role in understanding shopper behavior, optimizing the path to purchase, and delivering tailored made solutions that align with both customer and business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders (sales, marketing, and category teams).
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of shopper marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design and execute in-store activations, POS materials, and digital touchpoints to enhance shopper experience.
  • Full budget ownership (CPPs / A&Ps) per customer, per brand ensuring the most effective execution of plan to support brand and shopper objectives.
  • Analyze shopper insights and trends to create data-driven marketing campaigns that drive conversion.
  • Consolidate and provide accurate promo volume uplift per customer for S&OP meetings.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to tailor and optimize marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer priorities.
  • Track and report on the ROI of all shopper marketing initiatives, identifying key opportunities for growth.
  • Support categories and sales with daily & ad hoc requests.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Economics or any related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing, Sales or Marketing department preferably within FMCG sector
  • Strong project & time management capabilities, multitasking mindset and analytical thinking approach
  • Structured approach to problem-solving and flexibility to change plans when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment, ability to influence and inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency both in English and Greek.
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset
