At Drees & Sommer, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with solid international experience to lead large‑scale industrial EPCM projects ( > 50M EUR/USD) in sectors such as automotive, semiconductors, life sciences, chemicals, energy, manufacturing, and logistics. This position plays a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex projects within multicultural environments governed by global standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership, comprehensive project management capabilities, strategic vision, and exceptional communication and coordination skills across clients, stakeholders, and internal interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex industrial EPC/EPCM projects from requirements identification, design, planning, execution, and commissioning.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring effective coordination across disciplines and external partners.
- Manage projects end‑to‑end, including production processes, facilities, buildings, and technical systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, organizing workshops and aligning interests among all involved parties.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and methodological frameworks applicable to the industrial sector.
- Manage international contracts (EPC, EPCM, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and oversee key aspects such as timelines, costs, scope, and quality.
- Support strategic decision‑making by analyzing risks, proposing solutions, and ensuring a results‑oriented approach.
- Drive business development activities by building and strengthening the professional network and contributing to the acquisition of new projects.
- Represent Drees & Sommer in international environments, collaborating with multicultural teams and adapting to global requirements.
