Job description

As a Datacenter Project Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, construction, coordination, and delivery of highly complex data center projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee contractors on-site, ensure compliance with design and safety standards, and guarantee on-time and on-budget project execution.

The role is developed in a mission-critical environment, where the coordination of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, cabling and redundant systems infrastructures requires a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle—from acquisition and design coordination to construction, commissioning and client handover.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, procurement and documentation to ensure project delivery aligned with scope, budget, and quality benchmarks.
  • Support the development of project estimates, cost plans and risk assessments.

2. Construction Oversight

  • Provide daily oversight of on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with project scope, safety requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Inspect construction progress, verify execution against design standards, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage logistics, supply chain interactions and owner‑furnished equipment when required.

3. Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate the integration of electrical, mechanical, cooling and network systems typical of mission‑critical infrastructure.
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure system readiness prior to go‑live.

4. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Serve as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure aligned communication across all stakeholders.
  • Report regularly on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.

5. Team & Resource Management

  • Manage project resources and support multidisciplinary team coordination.
  • Ensure that adequate personnel, materials and tools are available to meet project objectives.
