Responsibilities

• Engage with research at the intersection of technology, creativity, and innovation
• Contribute to projects with real-world and societal impact
• Support ongoing research projects within the assigned team (e.g. data collection, analysis, experimentation)
• Contribute to the design, development, or testing of innovative solutions and prototypes
• Assist in literature reviews and staying up to date with developments in the relevant field
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (researchers, engineers, creatives)
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and internal presentations
• Document work, findings, and progress in a structured and professional manner
• Contribute to reports, publications, or project deliverables, where applicable
• Support the preparation of demos, showcases, or dissemination activities

General qualifications and requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme
• Strong interest in research, innovation, and emerging technologies
• Basic knowledge of the relevant field (e.g. computer science, engineering, design, data science, etc.)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage time effectively
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a dynamic research environment

Desirable 

• Previous involvement in research projects, internships, or academic work
• Familiarity with relevant tools, programming languages, or methodologies
• Interest in the intersection of technology, creativity, and innovation
