To further strengthen our commercial supply chain team, we are looking for a talented and dynamic Supply Chain Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the build out and shape a global supply chain infrastructure for innovative pharmaceutical products.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure commercial Drug Product batches are manufactured and released in time to guarantee continuous supply to all global markets:
Create a weekly Operational Plan for semi-finished and finished Drug Product to follow up on the manufacturing and packaging schedule and define required action items
Ensure a timely arrival of Drug Substance shipments and allocate Drug Substance to the Drug Product batches, taking into consideration the different regulatory and market restrictions
Define a shipment schedule ensuring global target inventory levels are met
Coordinate all (supply chain) activities in alignment and communicating with the internal and external stakeholders (CMOs, CMC, QA, analytics, logistics, distribution teams)
Coordinate the commercial artwork planning execution in collaboration with the Supply Chain artwork manager in line with internal procedures and CMO packaging schedule
Support Supply Planning Lead with scheduling Drug Product batches and packaging runs with CMO’s, balancing supply, demand, inventory
Support Supply Planning Lead with new product launches planning and execution
Supply planning and execution for argenx’ pre-approval access program
Process ERP transactions, including for example item PO creation, work order processing and batch receipts, to maintain a current inventory status
Execute quarterly inventory reconciliations, investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies; participate during (virtual) physical stock counts with CMO’s
Identify and drive operational business planning process improvement opportunities
Qualifications and skills:
Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science or Supply Chain Management /Logistics
Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders - team player with an analytical mindset and deliver-oriented focus
Flexibility in combination with a proactive mindset
Demonstrated understanding of supply chain interdependencies with multi-disciplinary teams
GDP/GMP experience is plus
Experience with (implementation of) ERP systems is a plus
