Overview
We are looking for a true sales leader — someone driven by results, passionate about selling, and deeply connected to their market.
The Cluster Director of Sales will lead all commercial activities for both Sofitel Luxembourg properties, with one clear mission: generate revenue through proactive sales, strong client relationships, and market expertise.
This role is designed for a hands-on commercial profile with a strong background in corporate accounts, MICE, and event agencies, and ideally exposure to online distribution channels (OTAs / direct sales platforms such as Accor ecosystem).
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Performance
- Define and execute a clear, aggressive sales strategy focused on revenue generation across rooms, F&B and events
- Personally drive new business acquisition and expand market share in the luxury segment
- Set ambitious sales targets to your team (5 people) and ensure consistent delivery through proactive actions
- Maintain a strong focus on conversion, pipeline management, and results
Business Development & Client Portfolio
- Build, develop and maintain a high-value client portfolio:
- Corporate accounts
- MICE segment
- Event agencies
- Key leisure and travel partners
- Leverage an existing network of decision-makers to generate immediate business opportunities
- Identify and secure new accounts through active prospecting and field presence
- Act as a key negotiator for major contracts and partnerships
Market Presence & Networking
- Represent the hotels in key industry events, trade shows and sales missions
- Maintain strong visibility within the local and international business community
- Develop long-term partnerships with event agencies and corporate clients
- Stay closely connected to market dynamics and competitors
E-commerce & Distribution (Commercial Focus)
- Drive revenue through direct and indirect online channels (OTAs, brand.com)
- Manage relationships with key online partners and optimize performance
- Ensure strong visibility and conversion across distribution platforms
Sales Performance Management
- Track and analyze sales performance, KPIs, and revenue figures & ensure full ownership of the sales pipeline and forecasting accuracy
- Implement corrective actions quickly to maximize results
- Lead by example with a strong results-driven mindset
