As part of the Digital & Guest Experience Tribe, this Feature Team develops the data products used by the Digital Experience and Content teams. These products enable, for example, the monitoring of the performance of the Accor Group’s websites and the ALL mobile app (analysis of user journeys, conversion funnels, etc.), as well as the scoring of hotel listings on the ALL website (completeness of information, relevance of images, etc.).
Your mission:
Reporting to the Data Engineering Director, you will be responsible for:
- Co-leading the “Digital Experience” Feature Team (facilitation, prioritisation, planning, etc.)
- Building a strong partnership with your Product Owner counterpart
- Supervising the Data Engineers: 4 external staff (individual monitoring, particularly with digital service providers, etc.)
- Ensuring the implementation of best development practices (DevOps, Quality, FinOps, etc.)
- Contributing to the scoping, breakdown and high-level estimation of new projects.
- Guide technical and modelling choices in line with Accor standards (Snowflake urbanisation, architectural patterns, etc.)
- Deliver Data products (Analytics & AI) in accordance with agreed quality and deadline commitments.
- Manage communication and resolution in the event of incidents.
- Keep your line managers informed, alert them or request assistance in the event of a risk or problem.
- Participate in events organised at the Data or Engineering vertical level.
Specifically, the following objectives will be set for you over the coming months:
- Work with the team to deliver a number of enhancements to the strategic Content Scorecard initiative, in collaboration with the AI team: homepage scoring, updates to existing scores, etc.
- Ensure a good distribution of skills and product expertise within the team to avoid reliance on any single individual and enable a smooth rotation of duties.
- Audit the Data products, formalise an assessment of the current technical infrastructure, and propose a plan: debt reduction + efficiency improvements + financial optimisation (FinOps) + exploration of new features.
- Foster a positive team dynamic (collaboration, motivation, participation, etc.) as part of the transition of the Tech Lead / Product Owner duo leading this Feature Team.
