Job description

The Corporate Communications Department of Accor is looking for a new intern (6-month contract) to assist the Digital Communications team in managing two of the group's major corporate communication channels: the global corporate website (www.accor.com) and the global intranet, AccorLive, used by team members worldwide.

This role will be responsible for helping manage both channels day to day, including, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Group Website

  • Help with the creation of new pages and content for the new Group website, including translations between French and English
  • Interact with different teams to understand their strategic needs and translate them into meaningful messages for the website

Group Website Newsletter

  • Help with the creation of the monthly external newsletter (designing and integration)
  • Analyze KPIs and propose enhancements
  • Lead the creation of paid campaigns on LinkedIn

Global Intranet

  • Help manage requests from internal stakeholders to update the intranet and contribute to the coordination of the platform’s editorial calendar, including alignment with regional and brand calendars
  • Assist in improving the platform’s editorial guidelines by helping identify relevant content formats, tones, and editorial approaches
  • Participation in complex projects aimed at enhancing the platform

Both Platforms

  • Contribution to the development of certain page contents (briefing & management of text writing by agencies, editing, verification of translations, iconographical research, etc)
  • Co-lead projects and work independently with technical teams, agencies, and providers to translate communication needs into evolutions for the website/intranet
  • Understand briefs and create new pages with user-focused design
  • Integrate content, documents, and page updates (text, images, etc.) into the back office, and supervise integration by agencies
  • Uploading articles and other content (text, images, etc.) to the back office and ensuring content is well-structured, visually appealing, and aligned with platform guidelines.
  • Tracking and analyzing KPIs - Monitor website/intranet performance metrics (e.g., page views, user engagement, etc.), compile regular reports, and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
