The Compliance Manager Aesthetics DACH (all genders) is responsible for coordinating and leading the ethics and compliance programs across all affiliates in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. This position is a key member of both the Affiliate and Area Compliance Team and reports directly to the Area Director for Europe and Canada. The role focuses on fostering a culture of compliance and upholding high ethical standards within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Act as the OEC leader within the Affiliate and support the Affiliate General Manager and Area Compliance Director in key compliance activities.
- Lead and manage an effective Affiliate Compliance Insights Forum (ACIF) for D.A.C.H, engaging Affiliate Leadership Teams and Country Leaders as needed.
- Provide guidance, and support on complex ethics and compliance issues, including policy interpretation, compliance risk assessment, trend analysis, and best practice recommendations.
- Serve on the Area Compliance Leadership team to help set compliance policy, strategy, and direction internationally.
- Ensure that all Affiliates maintain an effective compliance program, including the Seven Elements of an Effective Compliance Program and a fully operational Affiliate Compliance Insights Forum (ACIF).
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and sustain a culture of compliance at both the Region and Affiliate levels, reinforcing the importance of ethical behavior.
- Partner with various business functions (Commercial, Finance, Medical, Legal, HR, Regulatory, Public Affairs) to help the business achieve objectives in a compliant manner, escalate relevant issues, and propose solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, applicable laws, and regulations within the countries, monitoring relevant developments.
- Develop, implement, and deliver compliance awareness, education, policies, procedures training, and tailor programs for specific roles/responsibilities.
- Structure, implement, and oversee monitoring plans to ensure policy compliance, identify process improvements, and contribute to remediation plans.
- Partner with Affiliate Leadership and Auditors on compliance audits, ensuring objectivity and independence.
- Participate in local industry trade association compliance committees, communicate external environmental changes, and adjust compliance programs as needed.
- Lead and participate in key international OEC projects individually and as part of a team.
