Become a part of the 4screen team!

At 4screen we are bridging the gap between drivers and their surrounding infrastructure by providing engaging in-car communication directly on the car screen. We have developed the world’s first driver interaction platform, revolutionizing the way local businesses connect, interact and engage with targeted customers in real-time. We are live in millions of cars with trusted partners and leading customers.

As our Analytics & Data Science Working Student, you will play an integral role in shaping our data & analytics capabilities and helping us drive insights with data, enabling our internal stakeholders. You’ll actively contribute to the team success by developing data-driven insights, dashboards, and methodologies using modern analytics stack.

Tasks

You will contribute to our success by:

  • Maintain and improve reporting & analytics stack: Contribute to enhancing the robustness, reliability, and performance of our current analytics and reporting infrastructure, ensuring stakeholders always have access to accurate and up-to-date insights.
  • Support stakeholders with ad-hoc analytics requests: Assist internal teams with data analysis and reporting needs, working within a Scrum-based workflow to deliver timely insights that reinforce a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Build and deliver impactful insights: Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide meaningful business insights and improve operational efficiency for internal teams and OEM partners.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders: Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and continuously improve our insights and reporting capabilities.
  • Contribute to data-driven innovation: Help shape the future of our analytics landscape by exploring new tools, methodologies, and best practices in data science, reporting, and business intelligence.

Requirements

What makes you stand out:

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • Basic knowledge of Python and SQL, with the ability to use them for data analysis, data manipulation, and querying structured datasets.

  • Experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn) and familiarity with BI / visualization tools (we use Hex).

  • Ability to build or maintain dashboards, reports, or automated analytics workflows, with attention to data quality, consistency, and usability.

  • Structured and analytical way of thinking, with the ability to understand business questions and translate them into data analysis and meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Comfortable working with different stakeholders, explaining results in a clear way, and collaborating within a cross-functional and agile team environment.

Bonus points if you have:

  • First experience with data engineering or data pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar) through projects, coursework, or internships.

  • Basic understanding of statistics or machine learning concepts, for example regression, classification, or data preprocessing.

  • Experience with notebooks and analytical environments such as Jupyter, Google Colab, or Hex.

  • Previous university, personal, or internship projects involving data analysis, data science, or backend/data engineering tasks.

Benefits

What we offer:

  • Gain firsthand experience in a dynamic and professional startup setting.

  • Enjoy an open-minded culture with room for growth while working across teams.

  • Relax during your 20 days of annual leave (+ public holidays).

  • Take care of your well-being with the support of our Egym Wellpass
